Central Salem
This is the area between downtown and Keizer, the river and I5. It is full of charming older homes, fun restaurants and the state fairgrounds.
South Salem
South Salem is the area between downtown and Keuble blv, the river and I5. It has fantastic nature parks, a mix of newer and older homes and shopping.
Keizer
Community just north of Salem.
Home to charming parades and a lovely riverfront park
East Salem
The area east of I5 and north of center street. This is largely rural, older homes. Home to Bauman's farms and E-Z orchards as well as Chemekata commuity college
Independence
On the willamette south and west of Salem, they are known for their 4th of July celebration and farmers market.
McMinnville
A charming town northwest of Salem. Known for wine, street festivals and a historic downtown.
This city has a great mix of rural and neighborhood homes.
